What kind of do you of protection (weapon) , do you carry? Of course a pistol is the best.you can take lessons and get your license. Carry a can of mace or pepper spray. Carry a whistle.if you don't want to carry a gun carry a stun gun.Take a self defense cllass..Be prepared. Your best defense ..kick him in the nuts, use you nails scrath his face.Be safe not sorry...screen,screen please be careful out there.

I nice hard chop to the throat will stop most people. You have to attack as if you want to kill, and use anything at hand. I wish there were more Krav Maga classes around.

Actually, kicking a guy in the balls is the worst thing a lady can do. The shin or kneecap is the best place to hit on a guy. Doesn't matter the size of man, it'll take him down and make it very hard to walk or run after a gal.

I agree that the knee is a good attack point, if the man is tensed up and you don't strike with sufficient force the blow is likely to deflect. If you can kick him in the nuts it doesn't take as much force to bring him to his knees. Take a self defense course, carry a weapon, slit his god damn throat if you have to. GO FOR THE KILL!

Interesting Thread, with interesting posts. Everyone seems to have their own strategy against an attack. Although I don't disagree with anyones tactics. I will say the cold hard truth is, if one has never trained under the stress of a near to actuall encounter you'll never survive one.
