I often see an ad or review or other reference to a verified provider. If I'm interested at all, the first thing I do is click on her showcase. But, oftentimes, she doesn't have a showcase! I'll usually not make any further effort at that point to see if I'm really interested. But, I am left wondering why these providers do not take advantage of eccie's free advertising by creating a showcase. She's verified, so the only reason I can think of that she doesn't have one is that she's too lazy to create one. And, if she's too lazy to create a showcase, it makes me think she'll likely be poor at taking care of business.

I have to disagree, the one example I'm most familiar with is Lindsey Lacey, though admittedly she's not the most computer savy of folks. We've talked about it during our photo shoots, since she stays booked well in advance, there just isn't a good reason right now. Perhaps someday. So, there are reasons other than laziness, and it certainly doesn't necessarily mean poor service.

To each her own. If there marketing plan is working for them, who am I to argue with it?

Does it mean I will never see her? I don't know. One of the best sessions (plural, as in many times, many hours) was with a lady who currently has no reviews here, no showcase, and no posts. Think what I would have missed had I never seen her. (You think, I will live through the memories.)

One of the other ladies I have spent many dollars and hours with has 5 posts here, is not a verified provider, and has occassionaly posted a BP ad.

If you require a showcase, okay, that is your perogative. No showcase, no visit from Waldo. Perhaps it is their loss, perhaps you are a mere blip on the radar screen of their life.

I agree there is a provider that I want to see based on her posts. She only has a small face pic & no reviews even though she has been a member for a while.

Showcases are nice to look at, see whome you might be interested in, but noy a deal-breaker for me. Reviews are better sometimes at determining who gets on my radar! I would spend time with a lady who has a few reviews and no showcase before a lady with no reviews and a nice showcase.

I would encourage newer providers to create a showcase so they can attract more business prospects. Some SP's do not want a showcase because of identifying features like tats or peircings that may jepordize their civillian id's.

It is no secret that pics often get hijacked from the showcases to be used in escort malls and where ever we have the lovely surprise of finding. Maybe the lady that doesn't have a showcase just prefers to be more UTR, nothing wrong with that.

Not all of us have a goal to line up the masses and make you take a number. Even if we have the manpower to install the revolving door that would be necessarily to serve *everyone* it doesn't mean we would ever want to. Furthermore, 'Taking Care of Business' is an irritatingly subjective term. Truth is if a lady has been around for a year or more and is doing well, isn't surrounded by a lot of hype and/or drama then most likely she is doing something right. That most likely includes TCB in a way that caters to those she would prefer to meet not necessarily the hobby masses.

Sure there will be some that may be lazy, but don't assume that is the blanket situation.

Pro,

In one case, she is well known here but is UTR. For many, she is a fantasy, not real in many senses. In second case, she has multiple reviews here, but chooses to maintain her real world life.

Many ladies are HIGH PROFILE in the cities where they live, and cannot show much.
That has nothing to do with how they will treat you, or their experience in pleasing you.

Thanks for the response. I suppose if she's already got all the business that she wants, then it makes sense that she doesn't need to bother with any more advertising. I don't recall any ads from Lindsey either. I guess it's more the VPs who run ads on eccie but don't have a showcase that really prompted the post and make my scratch my head.

Totally agree with you. I didn't mean to bitch at providers who don't have showcases. Just something that annoyed me because I don't get it and sometimes I'd like to get a little more information about someone, but don't like to have to search for it.

It's not that I require a showcase. More that I was wondering why some don't take advantage of the free advertising and maybe thinking some don't realize that the easier they make it for their potential customers to get information, the more likely they'll get that potential customer's business. But, really, it's no skin off my nose however they choose to do things. And, I think you vastly overestimate my importance to them!

I'm not talking about those who don't have pictures or hide their face or who don't bother with posting on eccie and thus are not verified providers. I get that. I'm talking about those who have gone to the trouble of becoming verified eccie providers (the only advantages of which are they can post ads and create showcases and I suppose it also shows that someone vouched that they're legit), but not taken the next step of creating a showcase. There's no requirement that a showcase include pictures, so a desire not to show too much doesn't explain why they haven't created a showcase.

I would agree with you for ladies who advertise on here, make use of the showcases. The two examples I used for instance never advertise here.

Let me take it a step further. If you post ads with pictures, those ads are on ECCIE for ever & ever, with your pics. If you link instead to a showcase, then when a gal chooses to retire, she can delete those pics on her showcase and they are gone. I understand that the pics from any source can be stolen and be distributed all over the world wide web, but at least here on ECCIE, a gal could remove any pics of herself for privacy resons.

EDIT: A verified provider who does not have a showcase is not searchable under the SEARCH PROVIDERS tab. The last time I checked, the only way to find a lady without a showcase was to search on the complete member list.

I'd accept a thumbs up from another hobbyist or several reviews from hobbyists that have posted credible reviews if a Provider didn't have a showcase.

for me its starts with the visual appeal. so if she doesn't have a showcase then I usually pass. that being said i'm not here to lobby for all VPs to complete a showcase. some will some won't, some have NBA policy some don't, some want over 35 others could care less. point is VPs and hobbiers alike have their reasons for how they attract/select dates so while I personally like the pics it doesn't mean I always get what I want.......damn it! lol

I personally dont because I run a bit low key with info, my website, and pictures, harder to deny and be found out with lots of pictures. I also feel minimal info also helps avoid LE. I think some ladies put way too much out there.. Also when I want to vanish as a hooker the minimal pictures I posted.. the more likely I can get rid of them(the thieves)and vanish. I do a search once a week for my info, just did yesterday..

I do however post a picture in my ad with an outside host and i usually delete in a week. The way I run has worked well for me. Right now I only have my avatar and a picture in a review on Bestgfe.

I can see in this area a guy wont look any further because there is an ocean of ladies here.. but where I am there are maybe 100 showcases and only a few of them are where I live.. My reviews and posting is enough for them to contact to see more pictures. I actually get 90% of my business on BP with a one liner and 1 picture. My discreetness actually gets me business.. they like I run low key.
