spiking the eggnog...
I posted this on ASPD but since they will be going away, I figured I should post the same here...
Admittedly, I know squat about brandy, cognac, and rum - I am a Vodka guy.
Can anyone recommend some good quality brandy, cognac, and rum?
I have tried Hennessy VSOP (cognac) and Raynal VSOP (brandy) and I am not that impressed.
For rum, I tried Captain Morgan’s Original Spiced Rum and it goes pretty good with eggnog. I plan to try Captain Morgan’s Private Stock Rum.
Any other suggestions? I am not looking to spend $200 a bottle, but I am looking for something better then the above to go with the eggnog.
