Have to agree completely with Vito and KCJoe. The media makes a circus with anything involving attractive young white women. I never followed the case much but was surprised as everyone else with the verdict.

The jury didn't want to convict a pretty young white woman based on circumstantial evidence. I guarantee you that same circumstantial evidence would have been enough to convict a fat black woman, a homely hispanic woman, a guy of any color or ethnic background...you get the point.

Casey won't have a hard life. As evidenced by responses here and elsewhere that I've read, there will be plenty of guys willing to be her knight in shining armour. They'll probably be lining up outside her door. Party time, here we come!

And I agree, the media hyped this for ratings, and the viewers fell for it, because it takes a little focus off their own miserable lives to see a young attractive white woman, who appears normal (except for the Manson eyes) being put through the wringer. It has virtually no effect on anyone outside of the families involved. Unfortunately, these type of cases are a dime a dozen.

She gave us someone we can feel better than.

Still doable, but not datable. She says she wants to write a relationship book, have more children, and wear sexy underwear.

Hmmm . . . Doable is looking iffy.
