We've all seen the footage of an Indian truck driver making a U turn on the interstate causing the deaths of a family. Just one incident out of many. California ADMITS to issuing 17,000 CDLs to unqualified people.

Trump issues orders that no illegal alien can get a driver's license much less a CDL. The DC court of appeals blocks this executive order through the DOT...for the sake of safety?

The latest; a wanted terrorist, allowed into the country by Biden, was arrested in Kansas. It was theorized that terrorists could steal some fuel trucks, block both ends of a long tunnel, and burn hundreds of Americans to death. Why steal when they're giving out licenses.

So, explain how this makes sense.

The fault is on the DOT here for writing a piece of shit regulation. Sean Duffy is an incompetent Trump DEI hire.

Here's a nice little factoid from the ruling: The court said the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's own data shows that immigrants who hold these licenses account for roughly 5% of all commercial driver’s licenses but only about 0.2% of all fatal crashes, the court said.

So there's an answer here. Congress can provide it. Pass a fucking law to make this right. Don't rely on Duffy and his moronic staff. Then there won't be an argument.

Statistics are pretty useless when they don't count near misses. The truck drivers that are immigrants are causing all kinds of issues. Just ask people that have actually driven trucks over the road.

Schwarzer, How about modifying the order so it only applies to interstate travel? If California drivers want to pay $5.50 a gallon for gas, $0.35 per kilowatt hour to charge their EV's, and drive on roads with illegal immigrant truck drivers, then I say let them have at it.

My experience with Cuban strippers leads me to believe immigrants are pretty safe drivers when they're sober. They don't want to do something that would cause them to get deported.

Personal attacks and insults. What a surprise! That bill did nothing to stop LEGAL immigrants from getting a CDL or any other license. The judge's own words were "due to safety concerns". Yet NO concern about these people who can't even read street signs getting licenses from (what a shock) California. And Florida wouldn't give these criminals CDLs, so your other claim is wrong as well. Deaths that could easily have been prevented, except that Newscum and California just have to protect illegals. This is really too easy...

Nope. That is not correct. The regulation put additional visa restrictions on who can obtain a CDL. And the judge found that they were not warranted. He used statistics. Real ones. I posted them earlier.
