Personally, I will never set foot in Dubai alone. Even if a date invited me, I would be hesitant to go. It's not a safe place for women, especially providers.

Safety first always. I have to tell you doll, its so nice having a lady participate in these forums. Its quite often a sausage fest as so many quality providers don't participate, (or have been run off by some ungentlemanly behaviors). You and Miss Gina are appreciated.....

Awe, thank you for the kind words. It's fun to participate. I love reading all the different threads and putting my two cents in when I can.

Don't hobby there, the civi scene is way better. losts of teachers from Europe and nurses from other places (philippines) that live there and love to see americans--once they get past the sterotypes. Find a local bar that serves alcohol and just not be awkward. Last time I was there about 5 years ago I met some brits that worked at a bar in the Dubai mall I don't remember the name but it was american style food. They gave me spots they go to and it was on from there. Dress to impress and have some manners (southern charm went a long way) I was there for 6 months and it was never a dull moment when I went out.

Edit: Don't sleep on the hotel bars either. Lots of travelers looking to just have a good time from other countries. I know the hobby is fun and easy but don't be afraid to spit a little game and put some effort in from time to time.
