I saw no calling for heads on a platter here, that appears to only apply on one side.

I think Hegseth was a good choice, anyone above his retirement rank (maybe one step higher) is essentially a politician these days. I’ll take a guy who kicked in doors to lead the troops over an LTC on up every time and twice on Sunday.

If you don’t think that Hegseth is a politician you’re delusional. I am not sure if he started out as one but he sure is now.

No because he's a threat to the spread of the lefts bullshit communist diversity ideology.

“Diversity is not your strength. Your strength is your unity of purpose, your shared mission, your love of country” Hegseth

Yeah. I'm betting you spent about 15 minutes in the military and this is the shit you jerk off to every night.

Hegseth's "good shape" has zero to do with his qualifications for this position. It is just another example of the MAGA double standard: use meritocracy as a weapon when it suits, and then completely overlook it when it also suits.

And jealous? Really? Us "Leftists" are jealous of Hegseth's aweome physical prowess? And that's why we oppose him?

Nah. We just have much higher standards than MAGA. We are amazed that they support someone so blatantly inept and unqualified. And that they justify that support with reasons such as his "good shape."
Personal insults? No. That's you and your side. You people have NO standards. Hence why your boy Biden hired guys in dresses and "men" who stole luggage from airports and put them in important positions. Hegseth is far more qualified than any DEI leftist that was in there previously. So you leftists have ZERO argument about Hegseth or any other Trump appointee.

If he is/was what his nick indicates, it’s one of the most difficult courses in the military. You gotta be a little crazy too, the avatar is not far reality.

Hmm, Combat engineer for VF-31? Not sure that makes since since VF-31 was carrier based.

It's way too early to tell how history will view Hegseth.

... THIS surely might be your best post in this forum, mate.
And THAT is saying something.

... And yet it was yer-own speculation, mate - in the
very-first post here - that Hegseth's meeting of General
Officers and Admirals was going to be a GREAT PURGE.

... Which didn't happen.

... So, it would seem that Pete Hegseth CAN "act like
a politician" at times, yes?

... Still, would surely rather have HIM in his
military role than a sad old "career stumblebum" who
has one eye on retirement and the other on the clock.

... just sayin'

It would appear I was incorrect, judging by the avatar being identical to the fighter squadron. I was referring to the Sapper Leader course at Fort Leonard Wood.

Default El Rush-Bo

I think Hegseth is adhering to the core mission of the military, as best described by Rush Hudson Limbaugh III:
The purpose of any military is to kill people and break things.

Why would you think that someone other than Pete Hegseth is a “career stumblebum”?

There has to be plenty of other more qualified candidates than Pete “DUI” Hegseth.

If memory serves me correctly, the board member posted that Sapper was the surname of one of his ancestors who came to the New World long before there was a USA. So maybe the avatar’s the thing to focus on. Serving in VF-31 would be equally impressive anyway.

Thats the best you have? Yeah thats all it was a... a short moment in time now 30 years in the past.... and it still left me with more common sense than you've managed to scrape together in your entire life.

Just for you since you seem so eager. Whats funny is that the ADMIN actually posted in the thread and didn't bother to point you. We all know which way the political pendulum swings around here....

I feel sad for you. Its obvious you don't have much in your life... everything revolves around your leftist politics.. even your screen name.,, leftism is your identity. Thats sad.
