Thanks for asking! Wish more providers would take hobbyists locations into consideration.
DFW is so large its hard to hit every area. I have worked in both Dallas and Fort Worth areas, so will chime in on my personal favorites for hotels. Apartment/house/condo incalls change everything if you're local but I assume you are travelling in.
Bishop Arts is nice. Don't see many providers pick this underrated area.
Disclosure: I hate the Tollways. Tired of the prices going up and I go out of my way to avoid them. I know some married guys that avoid it since its a digital paper trail of when & where they were going after the bill comes out.
DFW AIRPORT
North & East Side - Grapevine and Las Colinas off of Hwy 114 are great. Avoid the 2 star cheap chain hotels near Freeport Parkway. Stay closer to Grapevine Mills. Never had a problem with Las Colinas being hot assuming you don't have 15+ clients a day that don't fit the demographic of area you are in.
I like the area near Toyota Concert center too as its easy to blend in. Have only hobbied in apartments here though. I like the NYLO and hidden area smaller hotels like this from a prior session too.
South Side - ideal location but avoid unless you are right off the Trinity exit. anything else is sketch.
Arlington - I personally like something close to Collins or Ballparkway as its an excuse to be near sports. Avoid I20 side.
West Side Airport - On the 121 side. Lots of options, Easy to blend in and not draw attention. I like the area in Hurst near their convention center and Bedford near the 121/183 split from prior hobby sessions.
Fort Worth - stay near TCU area off of Hulen, University or downtown area. Stockyards area is taking off due to all the western shows on streaming channels now, but surrounding area outside of it is sketch. Camp Bowie street is good and pricey but avoid West 7th area.
