My ECCIE Reviews
Default Client didnt understand how deposits work and is threatening to write bad reviews...

So somwone who had previously stood me up wanted to schedule again and i was like yeah id rather not have you waste my time again .... he asked if a deposit would help i agreed to accept half of the donation as a deposit and said "....so half and as long as you show up it will come off the donation" well go figure he canceled and is trying to set up another meeting and is upset that i told him i will not be applyingthe deposit from the appt he stood me up on today to the one he was wanting to schedule this weekend..... i explained thats really not how deposits work for any kind of appointments tattoo, hair, nails ect you dont show up you loose that and it goes to the provider for their time being wasted..... this was his response "It's whatever. Even if we met up it wouldn't be a turn on now. I'll take the loss and just leave reviews on eccie and elsewhere. Other girls have worked with me and had some understanding." so couple questions guys..... if you didnt show for an appt you paid a deposit on after already previously standing a gal up would you still expext that to carry over to a 3rd scheduling? And ladies how wouldyou have handled this?

Absolutely not! I would consider that deposit lost. I'd try to grovel to have it apply but I wouldn't make threats. That's just chuldrish.

Deposits are not complicated. It’s clear he canceled and therefore forfeited his deposit.

If I have to cancel, I will gladly reimburse her for her time.

A savvy, street-smart monger doesn't do deposits!
Having said that: If monger does give a deposit and he doesn't show up ...all bets are off!
He loses the deposit!

Your question seems to imply some concern for the guy leaving a bad review. When I read a bad review that doesn't say I got robbed or arrested, I immediately think the guy is an *ssh*le. This is a YMMV business and I couldn't possibly care less if some other guy didn't have an amazing time with you.

Regarding the deposit, it's clear he forfeited the deposit.

I have never lost a deposit. I have never done one and never will. I guess they work depending where you are and who you give it to.
Not MissAnnabell, but you have to admit a lot of guys have been ripped off by other Providers.

That's what spooks mongers

As far as getting a bad review, I’m sure that is a concern as it’s a “blemish” on your record but your record isnt one review it’s a long running resume. You’ve been in the business for quite a while in multiple cities and your reviews have always been pretty good, I recall giving you a positive one myself a few years back. I wouldn’t worry about him or his review in the overall scheme of things.

Just to summarize...
He made an initial appt. but cancelled or no-showed and then he wanted to reschedule. You told him no and then he offered a deposit. You agreed to this and made another appointment. He then cancelled and is now mad because you won't refund the deposit.

Screw him. And no, not in that sense. I think paying deposits is dumb but if he pays a deposit and doesn't show up he deserves to lose it. Let him find somebody else instead of bothering you.

I use reviews to determine if a provider is real or not. As someone said, it's YMMV business. Sometimes some actions are not welcomed/allowed by a provider and reviews allows everyone a heads up. So bad reviews sometimes don't tell a whole story and are usually biased on the bad experience. Of course if they are well written, us mongerers can usually sift through the bias and determine what happened. With all that said, if you offer a deposit because you stood someone up previously, and then stood them up again, your loss. If you offered a deposit and you got stood up, then totally understandable to use it for the next one. But again, YMMV.

I believe the term is "Hooker Logic" which is sometimes difficult for the man on the street to comprehend.

What gets me is when they want you to verify them knowing more than likely they will not show up. Who on either end has time for people that don't respond or show up
