Activating the National Guard to stand around on street corners in a type of military theater.

Not really the same thing. And people are not protesting the National Guard. They are protesting against Trump’s authoritarian rule.

Grammar is important. Did you protest “xxxxx” being used does not equal protesting “xxxx”. And the answer is no. You didn’t.
