Oaklawn Racing & Gaming's Favorite 3-Card Poker Hand
When it comes to advertising on websites Oaklawn Racing & Gaming's favorite 3-Card poker hand is... A set of Kings, trip Kings, also known as three of a kind. On the old website 10 or 15 years ago it was the same 3-card poker hand (3 Kings) of what it is today in 2025 which makes one think is it a coincidence, is it ownership's favorite 3-card poker hand, or is the ownership trying to give off a subliminal message which has a darker meaning? When Oaklawn transitioned to the new website several years ago with the expanded gaming they kept the 3 Kings image representing 3-Card Poker on their website.
I haven't checked but one could probably go look on the 'Way Back Machine' if possible to look at the old Oaklawn websites 3-card poker description to confirm. Not that it would matter.
Take note that the highest hand in 3-Card Poker is a Straight Flush being Q,K,A all of the same suit. KKK or a set of Kings is far on down the line from being the best 3-Card Poker hand but more than likely a winner in most forms of poker games when the money is on the line. Perhaps Oaklawn should change the image on their website to QKA in spades or hearts (major suits), 777, or AAA but it's more than likely ownerships decision.
