If you think this whole thing only got started on Oct 7, I'd invite you to look into the last 60+ years of conflict between the two sides. I'm not saying Hamas was right to do what they did (they were dead wrong) but it certainly wasn't "without provocation".

clearly it goes farther back. the modern day flashpoint happened in 1948 when Palestinian Arabs could have had their own nation including all of Jerusalem but refused because it also included the Nation of Israel.

the average Israeli doesn't hate the Arabs. most Arabs on the other hand do hate the Israelis which is why they can't let go of their own failings as a people so they blame Israel which is easier than blaming themselves, the real hateful culprit of this issue

Why don't other Arab countries absorb the Palestinians?

Lots of Arab countries, integrate a few thousand Palestinians at a time, ensure their culture exists, and eventually carve a Palestinian state amongst them all.

Think Rhode Island.

exactly. in 1948 the arab nations wouldn't give up one hectare or their lands, not Egypt, not Syria not Trans Jordan (Jordan today). not one. so much for Arab brotherhood eh?

He has plenty of options that don't involve invasion. And remember, he pledged to end this quickly on the campaign trail.

So while you don't believe he owns it, he chose to own it, loudly ahd publicly. If you don't care for the criticism get him a backwards time machine to go back and take back all the promises he made.
