Let us reshape Eccie

I have heard of the vibrant eccie of years before. Now it seems like a shell of its once glory where certain members just insult each other. I enjoy interacting here but when I do I'm accused of being someone I am not. I was never given the opportunity to come in and enjoy the site. I wish that wasn't so. Hopefully, I can experience and be a part of a vibrant community that helps and doesn't insult each other before I retire. I'm just throwing an idea out as to how this place can become more accepting to outsiders. As of now it seems if you are not in with a clique all that's here is rude comments from people who suffer zero consequences.

The clique you are referring to is very powerful on this site and took years to build. Some guys were able to be in it, most were shunned and left out, hence the insulting remarks back and forth. That will not change until the old guard is gone and hopefully, any new guys coming in do not carry their water for them so that there is a fresh start and this will be a great site with mostly all the membership able to interact with each without the insults and walking on eggshells.

There is a reason why 3/4 or more of the current site membership who tend to be just lurkers!

There's little chance that a two month member will be accepted by long term members.
And zero chance with zero valid reviews.

you seem to post quite a lot in coed (50 whole posts on the entire site - WOW), yet you don't contribute to the site. You don't post reviews of the ladies you say you've seen. You don't post about the things you like (see your thread about feet). You complain constantly about the guidelines here and your repeated inability to abide by them.


The site is fine. The moderation is fair. Methinks the problem is more in your own backyard than in how ECCIE is operated.

I don’t think I’m a member of any sort of “clique.” At least I’m not aware of any such membership. Nevertheless, I’ve not had any problems on this forum.

Pretty easy to just be on here and not be a jackass, keeps me out of trouble for the most part.

of course it easy to be here on this site when you post on average about 7 times a month! You classify as a lurker, the 75% or more of the members on this site I stated in my earlier post. Post more often and if the "clique" does not accept you into their fold, no matter your opinion on matters, you will be in for the surprise others have had the displeasure of having to put up with, or go right back to being a lurker as that is where they want you.

After all, giving an opinion of a subject is what it is supposed to be about on an opinionated board, right? So try it, or are you scared you will get turned away by the cool kids? And BTW, it is true you have guidelines or rules you need to follow on every site to post those opinions without consequences from site staff, so do your best to follow them when posting.
