Has the price of hotels gone up a bit, or is it just me?? Add the gas it takes to drive to OKC, and wow. I sure hope we get some relief soon. How can anyone stay afloat in this economy?

Hotel prices have surged along with restaurant prices. I used to book staycations just to use indoor pools and hot tubs, then eat nearby. I had to stop that habit.

Has anyone taken online courses through coursera?
I can't seem to get out of school mood and thought it would be nice to take an ESI course through them during the summer. I'm on my last week of the course and I have enjoyed it. I took it more for my own satisfaction, to keep me busy, learn something new, and improve myself.
But, with that said, does a coursera certificate mean anything in the real world?

Coursera is partnered with CareerCircle a job board. Employers posting there are specifically looking for people with the certificates. So they do matter. As an OK resident, you can take several courses for free. For example the Project Management course, doesn't give you a PMP License, but does count towards the required training hours to take the exam.
