It doesn't effect me at all. I have a very good lawyer who's better than Ken Paxton (imo) so I don't understand what you're trying to say here. And puhlease...not the Russians again.

A spokesman for the Russian Judicial System stated that false statements made by American News Media and Politicians was not helpful in the eyes of the court.
In particular, he pointed out the constant reference describing Griner as being a hostage,
He emphasized that she is a person that broke Russian Law.

I fail to see how this is a Conservative vs Liberal argument.
I fail to see how this is a LGBTQ vs Straight argument.
Brittney Griner was caught with illegal substances in a foreign country. She is subject to their laws while in that country.
How many of you watch the series on National Geographic TV “To Catch A Smuggler”
People are detained, and arrested, all over the World for the very thing which Griner was arrested. If convicted, they are subject to the penalties of that Government.

While coaching women's basketball in a Russian penal colony, Griner gets immersed in Russian Orthodox spirituality , converts, and comes back a changed person.
A few years may do her soul some good.
