So, in the state of Mississippi, you can get an abortion up to 15 weeks. If you are a woman and you had a intimacy without any birth control, if you are late on the menstrual cycle go to CVS and get a test kit for urine HCG ( a placental hormone). After a couple or weeks if your pregnant it will be elevated. Serum HCG elevates in 48 hours after conception. You would need to go to a doctor or physicans assistant to have that test ordered.

I think the only thing Roe vs Wade being overturned will be little stronger turnout of people that would already vote for Democrats. But as it appears the economy will continue to tank between now and November, I don't think it will help the Democrats much.

I have never read the Roe decision and probably will not read this one. But my understanding is that Roe was faulty on leangle grounds and this court decision examined and exposed those faults, then said it was essentially null and void.

The late Justice Ruth Bader-Ginsberg wrote that Roe was a weak decision width flaws and could be overturned for those reasons.

The "right to an abortion" is not actually found in either the Constitution or the Bill of Rights. However, the tenth Amendment says that rights not given to the federal government by the Constitution are given to the States.

Which means that each state may, through their elected legislators, decide what is what regarding abortion.

That is how I understand the current situation. Doesn't seem that complex when you boil it down.
