There was safety in numbers. With only 2 amps being reviewed since COVID, it made the DPD's job easier. It was just a matter of time. But now with the closures, I suspect there will be more street walkers on Harry Hines and Walnut Hill. The Amps were out of the public's eye, unless you read the ECCIE reviews.

The AMPs have a public presence, they are the ultimate low-hanging fruit.

Studios will (and do) prosper, but LE doesn't care. Too hard for them to bother, besides that Studios are basically private. Not really any different from, say, Swingers Clubs that are legal.

Y'all are fooling yourselves if you think that LE doesn't know what's going on with or without a review. Cops like strange as much as the rest of us. If you can find it, they've been onto it already. Cops only get involved with their business operations when there's a safety issue, they get a complaint or when a good bust can improve their election chances. Busts are usually tied to other, ongoing investigations like money laundering or tax evasion, and the inspections are probably driven by calls from meddling do-gooders or neighbors trying to clean up the neighborhood. If a place wants a no-review policy, they can have one. Shutting down the board is pointless.

First, there were very few reviews, relative to past years. Those that appeared were side-eyed immediately, by the large Troll contingent. Ladies were attacked daily, by these Trolls.

Out of the public eye? How so? AMPs are storefronts that get continual visits from various City Employees, who can walk in at will.

Studios ARE out of the public eye. Truly private. If you haven't been following, Studios have ruled the scene since last Summer.
