 Still no checks.

You do know that the legislative branch of government must authorize spending, not the executive branch. The house of reps just passed the 1.9T Biden-relief plan and sent it to the Senate this morning. When it passes in the Senate people will start getting the additional $1400. The first $600 check already went out.

If all it took was $2000 in everyone's pocket to solve the economic mess not only made by the COVID-19 pandemic, but the other short-sighted policies promoted by both major parties over the past 50 years (starting with going off the gold standard in the 1970's), it would be the cheapest problem/solution ratio ever. A global economy running on one part consuming (United States and other consumer nations) and the other part producing (China and other investors/producers) will never work out well for the consumers in the long-run.

VP Kamala Harris breaks all ties. If all 50 democrats vote yes the bill will pass. Kind of ironic is that the $2000 check is what Trump wanted all along. |

Do your brother a favor and tell him to get off his ass and get a 2nd job or a better job if he actually gives a fuck about that little chump change.

I didn't vote for Biden. I didn't vote for Trump either. I think both of those fuckers are too old and incompetent to be president so I chose not to even vote. Don't make assumptions that you know absolutely nothing about. Have I ever said once that I voted for Biden?
I don't hate Trump or anyone else for that matter. I just believe he is a complete dipshit who shouldn't be POTUS. Trump had a test to pass. He flunked it big time. It was time for him to go. He's gone as it should be with that idiot. Is Biden going to be a savior? Fuck no he is not. But I'll take anyone over Trump's stupid unprofessional ass.

Lucas,Your above post reminded me of the movie Brewsters Millions, where Pryor encouraged voters to vote "none of the above".

 But back to post 1.
 The 1,400??
2 months later, the politicians have not approved anything.
Is this what we can look forward to for the next couple years?
It would only take one conservative dem senator and all dem proposals are going nowhere.

That's funny. If that was an option, I would have definitely voted that way. LOL

You are not on the same page as your hero Trump. This is a surprise. You have agreed with just about all of Trump's other policies. |

And - does 'a' agree and support all of AOC's ( your heroine) proposals???Including 're-education camps' for dissident terrorists ( meaning all Republican,
conservative, and or caucasian people in America - regardless of Age).

Because - 'a' - those are not people - they are nothing other than 'white terrorists' - just as is your avatar.

 So Says your heroine.

Bad analogy. W. Dixie (Johnny Reb) is clearly in Trump's camp. He has supported everything that Trump wanted to do except the $2,000 check. I am not in the Sanders/AOC camp. I am Clinton/Kennedy democrat.

Correct. Sen Manchin from W. Virginia only wants to go to $11 for the Fed min wage. So, the dems need to work with him or find one republican to get to a 50-50 tie.
