I would say avoid the Studio 6 and Magnusson off Troup Highway. Both are frequently under observation by LE. However, nearby are the Homestead Suites and Holiday Inn Express. Nearby are the La Quinta and Staybridge. The area off south Broadway and Loop 323 also has nicer and probably safer choices.

I am from Tyler, I visit my sister often. when I go I usually stay at sleep inn & suites. any hotel in that area is considered good area. even think about renting a airbnb if you think you will have a lot of traffic.
My nephew birthday is Nov. 1st I will be there for 2 weeks and thinking i will rent a airbnb with a hot tub. if your in town r any call girls are in town I would love to meet and have a drink. i could show you around town. the good, the bad and the ugly lol. Good luck beautiful!!
