It's funny, I ran into almost none of this when I was in school, although with the explosion of the internet and the exposure of the educational system in general, it's not something that can be denied at all.

My last as a student day in a formal educational facility was in May of 1994 for context.

My favorite characteristic of the republican party is that they make almost no effort to hide their commitment to large financial institutions and big business in general. They do try as hard as they can to pretend that they don't believe in big government however. That's a tender spot.

The democrat party does whatever it can to deceive their moronic base that they stand in opposition to the banks. They also want their lower middle-class base and their minority constituency to think that the party's commitment to increasing the size of government to the point that it interferes with the lives of people on a day by day basis is an effort to help and protect them. This is laughable bullshit.

On balance I prefer republicans, but they are also painfully full of shit.

Trump 2020.

Yep. Both parties have been consistent on that matter for as long as I can remember.

It's far worse now than the 90's. The same thing is happening in K-12, but to a lesser degree.

When I was in school I personally had no pre-existing agenda and probably would have had a hard time detecting subtle indoctrinating political bullshit from a $35,000 a year college professor anyway. Which is most likely the point, yes?

Poisoning the minds/attitudes of vulnerable children who are likely to believe them because they are teachers.

It's like mainstream media arrogantly manipulating the minds of children and dumb sheep and all the while the kids and the sheep believing it because it's on tv or in print or online, which automatically makes it true?

Sounds a little like the way propaganda works.

At what point to regular folks figure out that this may possibly be taking place?

Your elected officials know what's best for you as long as they're democrats.

That's a tough question. when is enough, enough?
Students who have conservative views, or are apolitical tend to clam up and try not to draw attention to themselves They just want to get the degree and move on. My nephew is in this situation, in his 2nd year at a university. He hates it, he's afraid that voicing his own dissenting view will hurt his gpa. His friends are in the same boat. I get a good laugh when he talks about some of the interctions with the flaky professors and the social justice crowd. One group of students organized a "Die-In" protest. They all lay on the ground in a public place and pretend to be the dead victims of gun violence. Its fucking nuts. He doesn't dare tell anyone that he hunts during dear season.
I think his approach still hurts him in the long run. He's not able share his own ideas and views or engage in healthy debate with other students or professors without it becoming confrontational .

What he is doing is tactical.

He is currently powerless and is looking for a credential from an institution which is currently far more powerful than he is and which disagrees with him in principle. These people are first encouraging, and then empowering, the majority of the dumb kids to become increasingly sure of themselves and their ridiculous liberal beliefs.

The kid should wait until he accrues credentials and gains power. When he has power he will be in position to do his part in neutralizing these douchebags.

In the meantime he should talk about them behind their backs. This way he stays on point and doesn't lose track of the narrative.

One would thinck all of these liberal kolledge professors would lead to the same or similar percentage of those students becoming libs.... but common sense apparently takes over.... much to the dismay of the propaganda profs....

It's pretty simple why there are so many libs teaching.
Those who can, do.
Those who can't, teach.

Some of the dumbest folks I've ever know have degrees from "respected" universities yet can't change a tire or wash their own clothes. Knowing a lot of shit and being intelligent are often two different things.

He does, but only within a small group of friends or when he comes home. It''s a perfect example of the upside down world we're currentlyn living in.

On line colleges will probably replace the "OLD CONSERVATIVE" way of teaching. Colleges are indoctrination centers and are too expensive for most people.
