				 Deposits

What positive experiences do you have with deposits? If you've successfully sent or received a deposit for a session, I'd like to hear your thoughts.
Companions, why do you ask for a deposit? Clients, why did you send a deposit? Did getting part or all of the payment out of the way before the start of your date shift how you navigated during the date?

I would not be willing to make any part of the expected donation in advance. I would not make any part of the donation in any form other than green cash.
The electronic trail is admissible evidence of a completed transaction for prostitution for both the hobbyist and provider.

I might make an in person, partial donation in cash when setting up something like a long weekend get-away or a short cruse with a provider have known for a while.

Me being BSC and only wanting clients that can understand the meaning of 'Do your research', I ask for address verification fees if beckoned to their hosting location. I think if both parties are legitimate and both have an adult understanding of what we are here for then a deposit would be offered without question. Im sure all involved have been through experiences that tell them to make the choice to ask or don't ask and to except or decline. I do it because I want to start off comfortable not on guard due to the clients unwillingness to know who he is seeing. If spontaneous action is needed then there's a track in every city. Ijs. I'm team deposit for sure.

Pardon me for following up your question with questions. Generally what duration is your preference when you're setting up a date with someone you're really jazzed about or know really well and have fantastic rapport with? Does the length of the date affect your openness to send a deposit?
Now to answer your question, yes and no. My current policy is when it comes to a shorter (two hour or less) session, I don't require a deposit.Quote:

For a multiple hour / day engagement, no the questions in my original post aren't moot. It doesn't matter if someone has booked many dates with me in the past. Regardless of if I've met a suitor a dozen times or if someone new wants to see me, I'm still going to need a portion up front to set aside considerable amounts of time beyond a few hours.

Not wanting an electronic trail is a valid concern. I've received a partial cash deposit for an extended few day encounter. Making arrangements to transfer the cash deposit was convenient for us both because we reside in the same state.

I do it...If i'm touring. I don't want to pay for airfare, hotel, pet boarding, rental and take time off from civilian work then to be canceled when I arrive. Simple 50 bucks tells me your for sure gonna see me and not gonna waste my time. It sucks to be canceled on when you travel that far.
As for the electronic trail..you can file your taxes as a nail tech, make up artist, eyelash tech, nanny etc..When guys send me my deposits. I have them put in the subject line Cavitation treatment.

Guess I won't be seeing you after all Hala. That's too bad because I have had my eye on you for a while now and I think you are absolutely fucking hot.
But no. I'm not giving you a deposit. Or anyone else either. I did that once, got burned and it's not happening again.

I can't say that I have never cancelled an appointment but it is an extremely rare occurrence. And I have always made it up to the provider in question. If I ever do request an appointment with you then you will have access to every provider I have ever been with. You will be free to question my integrity with any of them. You will receive the same answer from whom ever you contact.

If that is not good enough for you then we are destined to never meet. Because I am not giving you a deposit

If it's at all possible, please refrain from singling out and publicly scolding any one companion in this thread. Keep things on topic by answering the questions posed in my first post or by sharing your personal experiences with deposits. My aim was to open up a more nuanced dialogue about deposits.

This makes sense Gina. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
These are very pragmatic points, many of which resonate with me. It would be inaccurate to say there are zero risks when it comes to deposits. But thorough research plus sticking with verified and reputable companions can mitigate many of those risks. I can feel the difference between when a potential suitor has done his homework versus when he's being tepid and I prefer the former.Quote:

Hear, hear Hala. When I was still a naive newbie at touring, I traveled to a city on the word of a client who passed screening and seemed on point. He waited until the evening before we were to meet the next morning to let me know he experienced some (probably made up) tragedy. And of course by that time, I'd already touched down in his city. And it was past the hotel's cancellation window so I couldn't even save myself the couple hundred dollars the reservation cost.Quote:

Since asking for deposits, I have noticed a decline in the time wasters and the last minute requests. I have also had more successful less stressful tours. If after sending a deposit then gent has cancelled well outside 24 hours, I offer to return it. None have taken up that offer and I reward them for it next visit. I have a list of guys who would no doubt give positive accounts for their deposits with me. I have an invoice account that has a very generic name. I use it for uship and I can put any note on the invoice to cover the tracks for a gent.
I understand many of the guys are anti-deposit and why. But they need to understand why we ask for them. If you don't like a lady's policy, no need to comment on it, just respectfully decline and move on.

And DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!! A reputable lady is not going to tank her business over a percentage.
