Well if it was sudden and I was in Lawrence, lunch at the Bird. Otherwise a nice lunch at a BBQ place. It would be too quick to set something up

TH, have you done lunch at Slap’s? I need to go back there. Haven’t been there since I worked in downtown KCK.

Hell yes. I think it is way better then Gates. The rib meat just falls off the bone. The beef is also great. Big portions too. Prices are in line with the rest of the BBQ places. Plus I like their sweet sauce. You probably remember when it was Sophie's Deli.

I used to tell the last girl I was seeing, that you had to be direct. Like a 2x4 across the back of the head. Sorry you were disappointed but I wouldn't have had any free time this week. Maybe next time.

I find a good free hour alot during the week for lunch but I think the drive may take that away from me.
