Difficulty getting PI's or even local Hotels.

Anyone else having difficulty getting PI's at the old price? Or even local hotels? I was scheduled to see someone yesterday and they lost their room to a FEMA person. I suggested we use a PI and she said the minimum was 80 and then a little later it had gone up to 150. I'm going to have to only see girls with incalls for the near future, I guess.

Yep. Numerous comments popping up on this problem. I book a favorite mainstream motel chain by the night when I entertain incall, but my usual inn of sin only had ONE room I could reserve for ONE night this coming Wednesday, nothing else for the foreseeable future, and I'm paying half again what I normally do.

ECCIE gents used to same-day service, understand that this will be a continuing issue for a while, out of the control of ladies, so please be patient. Ample advance notice is going to become important. Been told some areas have more availability than others, so check online, but rising room rates may make the typical 1-hour appointment much less profitable and practical for hussies who host at hotels/motels/no-tells. I expect more lusty lassies to start asking for an additional accommodation allowance. May see a surge in car dates, possibly more outcall specials.

Going to be a booty boon for those providers with private palaces of pleasure. There's a list in ISO: https://eccie.net/showthread.php?p=1...post1059950213
(Wish I were still on it, damn Mother Nature's flooding wrath last Tax Day. )

I suppose it depends on where one is post-Harvey. Some areas have been hit harder than others, so certain guys and gals may have to stray and play out of customary close comfort zones.

Well, not so sure about that. If you do some research, it's more than just a few motels, and not just next to flooded neighborhoods. There are thousands of people displaced throughout Texas, and remember, FEMA is still processing paperwork, just beginning to issue vouchers for temporary living quarters, and reserving large blocks of rooms at the more economical (under $100 a night) lodges. Many apartment complexes are just now starting to boot renters out as damage repair becomes obviously necessary, and more evacuated families that were staying with relatives or in shelters short-term are returning to find their homes unlivable and will have to make long-term arrangements. The shortage of accommodations will likely get worse before it gets better, but the more affluent hotels will probably have the most availability.

Here's a related news article:

Although we all know that many PIs/SIs retain a couple of open rooms just for risque romps by the hour, first come, first served may form a line!

I'm going to plan, look, and book online for an assured result.

Yes, I was told yesterday, that they told her it was 80 at first and then quickly went up to 150 for one hour or all day.

Wow, what blatant price-gouging! Must think they have Hobbyists over a barrel. Might delete that place from your future playlist if they are going to act that way.

Someone else JUST told me almost the same thing about a PI off the Beltway, also happened yesterday. (Coincidental?) Called ahead to make sure there was a vacancy, room quoted at $75 for the afternoon, was told $125 upon arrival for two hours! Declined and went elsewhere.

(At least I know what to expect when I reserve online ahead of time. Although I acknowledge the necessity and convenience of no-tells, they are a "no" for Fancy.)

PIs need to stop the hourly rates. It's bad for the hotel business and is bad for the hobby business. Let's take the sketchiness out of it.

Nahh they should keep them. The sketchiness is what makes them convenient.

There will always be folks who need short getaways. Why spend a daily rate when you only need 2, 3, maybe 4 hours?

Profits are higher when they rent out the room by the hour, they will never give that up. Places that offer hourly rates could care less about being sketchy.

They are giving it up now because government money is more lucrative than John money.

I have a feeling that after the evacuees leave, PI won't be the same anymore. That LE will get more involved in busting Johns and whores at these PIs. You know some of those evacuees have already called the LE about suspicious activities at PIs. Johns and whores alike need to quit PI for the time being until everything calms down.
