with respect to Donald in comparision to past presidents, he doesn't have complete control.

I'm fine with them doing whatever to her. If she did it fine. Trump could get some easy wins with bipartisan support. But he only listens to fox news and the alt right. I wouldn't even do taxes yet. You need a win, and not a slight win, a good one. But he needs to move slightly to the middle, at least a little. I think plenty of us on the left are ready for immigration and infrastructure, apart from privatization (I'm sure can be worked out). But at least test the waters. Trump seems more into the fight. And he wants to fight any and everyone.
