The "math" in your second paragraph is among the most stupid statements I've ever read on this board. No one can accurately estimate the number of pedophiles in this country since we only know if someone is a pedophile when they are caught. An estimated 96% of pedophiles in this country are men. I could find no statistics on whether they victimize boys or girls. It is hard to estimate the number of gays/lesbians but most estimates put it at 5% in this country.

Every source of information I've read on this subject puts the cause as a mental disorder unrelated to sexual orientation . As I said in my earlier post, there has been no study done which shows a positive correlation between gay men and child abuse. Just because a man abuses a boy does not mean he is gay. GOT IT???
