So I am a member here and on p411, but there usually is not a lot of traffic between the two sites for the Cedar Rapids area. Is there any other pages or forums that I might find useful?

Here is a list of sites that some of the ladies use. Not all of these are used very extensively in Iowa. In addition, CB mentioned woman > men on the dating portion of BP and also massage under services. More and more ladies, both local and national are popping up on twitter. It's easy to control who gets to see your content as you can make your account private and must approve anyone who wishes to follow you.

It's a decent list but a bit outdated and missing a lot of sites .... for instance Trusted Fling is actually Blue Jello now.

Or backpage just lets people advertise on the women seeking men section. Which they are doing. Not surprising given the other sites that shared common ownership w/ BP, and their general, resistant attitude towards the federal government.

There are a couple broader things going on. First, a Constitutional argument, which the new Attorney General will likely be more open to, so long as it doesn't involve minors or trafficking. Also, we still have somewhat of a free marketplace, although this has deteriorated in the last several Administrations, someone will replace BP.

Now, it does need to be said that BP probably won't be coming back. There was another criminal indictment, and it did involve minors.

All very interesting to watch.
