I agree. She is a sitting Justice on The United States Supreme Court. She can say damned well what she pleases.

She can vote on opinions any way she pleases. She is under no authority to give "reasons". She answers to only one entity, that being the Congress of the United States, and only then if it is under a charge of Impeachment if the House can muster up enough votes to bring the charges, and the Senate can muster a 2/3 majority to convict.

Until that happens, RBG, or any other Supreme Court Justice, can tell everyone to stick it where the sun doesn't shine.

Here is an observation.

We learned more about Ruth Bader Ginsburg in the past few days, (due to her remarks), than we were able to learn throughout her career.

First, we witnessed Loretta Lynch go from supposedly respected officer of the court to political hack. Then we witnessed the head of the FBI fold under the demands of the priveledged class, ignoring a mountain of evidence and let a thoroughly corrupt person skate free.

Now Ginsburg, who in a weak moment of candor, let her true feelings shine forth, and those feelings, and beliefs, are contrary to what we expect from a Supreme Court Justice.
