It's not that big a deal. We'll never have another originalist on the Court again. Let Obama nominate, let the Senate consent, or not. You know Obama is going to nominate the first _____ - American, and then the Dems are going to call the Reps racist, sexist, homophobic, or all those things plus others and demagogue the whole thing until the election, or until McConnell caves, whichever comes first. The Republicans will respond with feigned outrage, and it will be a great show. Remember, however, that while both teams appear to fighting vigorously, they are both owned by the same people. Professional wrestling is more real than politics.
