But it's turning into a waste of time quickly. I know your job isn't easy, and you are volunteers, but really. What do you want Eccie to be? Frankie, members here are free to come and go as they like ...that would be their choice ...but outside of helping members with any issues they might be having, assisting girls with VP status, reminding members of the guidelines, etc ...we actually don't have the power to determine who is a member here and how they might decide to participate. Not everyone is going to always get along on here, that's just how it is.

Moderators don't really have much power. The admins and owners support the mods based on what the members want. ECCIE's rule from the beginning was to be open and inclusive. It's never been difficult to join, but getting permanently kicked off is very hard. This once was a great spot. But over time, opportunistic and nefarious street hustlers realized that they, too, could have a seat at this table. Pimps and hookers who would still be working the Avenue, but for the power of the the World Wide Web, believed they could command the same fees as the city's best escorts without changing their service model a lot. When providers relied on his board to get all or most of their business, every post became important advertising and nobody spoke their mind for fear of "hooker drama" or even worse, "white knight drama".

Jaycee, I've very much enjoyed reading and responding to some of your thoughtfully articulated threads on the national boards. And I'm sure you'll continue to have a splendid and fruitful time on other review boards, verification sites and social media!

It is saddening to know that sometimes this virtual community is one that discourages providers from freely expressing themselves and quite literally chases them away. I chuckle when I wonder to myself, how some can treat providers on here any ole way. I thought some of the points of being here were to build rapport and get to know one another to more easily facilitate the sharing of information... and pleasure! But some are intent on making that (nearly) impossible. If more and more providers are discouraged from engaging or using this site at all, what would be the point.. Would some of the more vehement bro-trolls just sit behind their computer screens wanking off to arguing with each other?

losing Jaycee's participation is a major blow to the enjoyment of the forums, not just locally, but to the board as a whole.

I would think, if my memory still works, that guidelines 1, 3, 4 and perhaps another are in place so that folks somewhat behave. Is there really a reluctance to hand out candy that could add up to a vacation?

I appreciate you commenting here, as well as the others clarifying the role of moderators. I'm also glad to see a ban where it's richly deserved, but it shouldn't have to get that far to earn it. Rules 1, 3 and 4 of the forum guidelines cover all of this and should be more strictly enforced in my opinion. If the owners want a board where the women feel as welcome as the men that would be my solution. Again, this is just my opinion and if somebody feels like this is a discussion that should happen privately I'm open to that. But this topic effects all of us who want to keep this board a fun place.
