As for phones, most folks should wipe the hobby phone on a regular basis. This is basic discretion/security.

I do note that the federal training manual, that they teach the local pastry boys out of, does include a section on phones and laptops. Although they are supposed to get a warrant. The operative word is "supposed". So passcode the stuff, wipe on a regular basis, and for phones, have a remote burn app.

I would consider Federal Sex Trafficking of a Minor charges to be more serious than a simple "they got in trouble". Then add in the sleaze factor that they were recruiting women from homeless shelters.

Also, given one of the providers charged (Nikki Pierce) had a current ECCIE showcase (until it was removed by the ECCIE staff), this is really a safety alert for hobbyists.

Yes it is serious, some of the charges carry 10 year minimum federal sentences.
And yes it did start as a valid alert. Note that the Feds specifically targeted a group of folks that came to the Feds attention. Think about that.

But "outing" anyone, member or not, is against the rules on this board, and that's where the Topeka thread went, and this one started to go.

I can't have an opinion Savannah? It is possible to get your point across without being condescending. I don't mind at all that I am regarded as a newbie. I also have no desire to be regarded as a know it all when it comes to the hobby. I bring information from my hobby experiences in the form of reviews, advice to those who ask it, and I take whatever I can from the site to have the most fun and to do it as safely as possible. You want to pick that apart and start in with a member who has never met you or said a cross word to you? go right ahead, no skin off my ass. I have no connection whatsoever with AM or whatever shit he gets into with the mods or Gemma
