Not sure bout anyone else's employment. But we are literally balls to the wall right now and when your self employed its all about making the most $ as possible and putting the hobby on hold till it slows up again. We have been slow most of the year and hoping its going to be busy till Christmas.

Bigtime hurting when price of oil is this low. This started a year ago but only now hitting many and many more will be affected in the next year, than are now.
The other thing is all the regs and threatened regs (the really dumb ones) for industry over the last several years. It impacts privately owned manufacturers first who have made historic profits but unable to justify expanding manufacturing due the damned regulations.
Keep on electing those with minimal experience to the White House and only academic moronic ideas not based on reality. This is what happens.

It's gonna be slow at times. You gotta move around to different places and get some new clients. Texas is a good start. Come here where I'm at.

Oil prices are going up now but it will take a long time to recover. I am so freaking surprised that more people dont have a conservative mindset.
As for me, I would love to party with the high dollar ladies but I can't normally get 30 minute sessions around noon so I just party with the locals. Satisfies my itch every time.

It ain't just the oil sector. Manufacturers were making money hand over fist for a few years recently but were not allowed to invest here in the U.S. due dumb regulations. It's impacted me about $100K annually for 6 years straight. Free stuff costs money too.
Also, stupid geopolitics have removed markets which were ripe for sales. That alone has cost me millions of lost profit.

I WOULD NOT ADVISE going just anywhere in Texas..
With all the floods and the oil boom fizzling out you must know where to go., USE TOO.... EAST, WEST ,NORTH ,SOUTH, SMALL TOWNS, BIG TOWNS..ALL WAS GOOd..NoW...Not so much..
Whenever there is disaster floods tornados yadda yadda yadda you just steer away a bit..
YOU JUST do what you can everything you can do all your posting when not busy post available now ads on p411 it's free. Do all the ads you can here and stay active on chat and the discussion areas.
All summer I ventured out some towns fizzled most were good Atlanta and Kansas City was horrible every other city I enjoyed.

Lol - getting your ECCIE account suspended probably impacted your business more than oil prices!

Petrochemical construction is way up
There is a pile of money being spent in Lake Charles. Around Houston area welders are being paid a lot of money up to $350K per year, or more if willing to work more than 40 hrs per week, due all the work there.
There is a lot more to the natural gas/oil biz sector than just drilling. Unfortunately, coastal parts of Louisiana are immediately impacted by drilling and oilfield services demand.

I hope Huntsville alabama was on your good list. You defintely always have an assured prebook if you return there and I'm free. Or here if I'm in town when you tour here. Very awesome massage.
