In college, I had plenty of free time and not much money. I worked for 8 bucks an hour to try to make ends meet and pay for school. Now I have very little time and a set of skills that at least a portion of society values much more than the 8 bucks an hour I used to earn. Would I spend the little time I have going back to work that 8 dollar per hour job when I can earn 100 times that doing other things? No. My time has more monetary value and to waste it at my old menial job seems stupid rather than arrogant. Maybe time has the same value in some existential way, but I guess I am not all that philosophical.

Now I don't wish to say you are arrogant, it was a manner of thought I think arrogant, you sharing that manner of thought is not unique. But that being said, how does comparing oneself to oneself avoid arrogance? With all the other possibilities? Just an interesting snippet to ponder.

Who said you would go back to an old job? There are plenty of reasons why a person would. Or is it all about the money? But that wasn't the matter at hand.

Is your return a long drive? And while we're on it, my plasticman ouija board thanks you for reminding everyone you had somewhere to return from.

Hey JC no worries, nice to see PM is being thought of, esp when it comes to me

But worst part of driving is when she still needs 10 minutes after u text/call her and she knew you were coming because she responded

Agree. Whenever I would drive it was to shop. Most providers aren't reliable enough to drive an hour for, because of the first come first cum nature of the biz.

Maybe I am egocentric if I have to compare myself to somebody attempting to shit talk and use grade school vocabulary wrong. It's impossible to extort virtue, I'm sure the straw you're grasping for is EXTOL. Better luck next time Maybe drive to barnes and noble to pick up a dictionary.

Wrong again, but not surprising from a narcissist. The typo or autocorrect was exhort rather than extol, but your ninth grade education and GED probably didn't include Plato , biblical verses and the "Exhortation of virtue".

Oh ... and if you are going to come at someone with far more intelligence than yourself with a vocabulary attack as your last desperate attempt to save face, perhaps you should not spell Barnes & Noble "barnes and noble" , and perhaps you should know that a period was called for after virtue rather than a comma.

Dumb ass.

I think this happens occasionally. Nothing is perfect. I believe most professionals strive to meet their deadlines.

Sometimes a man can show up 10 minutes late because it's a new location with the drive...

The reviews have a section for noting if an appointment took place as scheduled/etc. I would say there are loads of reliable providers to drive an hour for with this factor in mind.

I do not know anyone with "appointment took place as scheduled" reviews that would bump a scheduled appointment for a last minute meet. ...

Agree trish, but it just seems like it's when you call and say I'm on way, she verifies you are, and knows how long it's gonna take, yet she still needs 10 more minutes. That's more what I'm referring to.

And yes, it's a great song!!
