That panic and fear that sets in. When you start shaking because you are X minutes away from her and you know what harm can be done in that time.

When you rush out of your house with keys in hand and armed, listening to terrified screams and pleas to try and control the situation...

Torn on whether or not you should call the cops...

Driving recklessly to get to her, only to see the fucked up sick bastard drive away in his shitty red car as you turned on the street.

Chase him down and show him what it means to fuck with a friend or rush to your gf and hug her making sure she is safe and unharmed...

Sucks that shit like that happens. Even screening doesn't always prevent it. Dealing with those types of lowlifes is one of several reasons I could never be a provider.

The big concern is you will lose her call when you call the cops. At the moment you would be advised to not lose her call. In my experience you can get a quicker response by calling the fire department. They come immediately with sirens blaring. The cops show up after the action is over.

It's always someone to say screen better. Very insensitive . The lady involved is a vet in the hobby game. Screening wasn't the issue it's a 100 percent on the hobbyist. I really hope the lady involved will be ok and Ze thanks I agree with your statement fuck this hobby some days

Screening would not have changed ANYTHING in this situation. We are talking about a repeat client with multiple ok's. Hell, even I had seen the guy in question.

Hindsight is always 20/20 but sounds like you did the right things. Only critique personally for me would have been to call the cops. Let them try to intervene and correct or alter the "anger issues" before someone else maybe less fortunate becomes the next target.
Put simply, the dude sounds fucking crazy. Who knows what is going make him snap next? Let the pd equipped with the right tools and training make the judgement. Glad you BOTH are ok, and props for the system you two got in place. Maybe consider two code names or phrases for the future, one being a call the cops and second being a come quick and bring a shovel.

Keep in mind that the police are not setting in front of her place. I have had experience with a burglary in process at my daughters house and the police arrive 25 minutes after the first call. My 14 year old grand daughter was in front of the house with my back up Springfield while I cleared the house from the rear door.
