A new summertime drink my ATF introduced me to - cucumber flavored vodka over ice. It's very refreshing!

Use the deep eddie grape fruit vodka mixed with club soda and maybe a lime and a splash of cranberry if you like it sweet. If you don't have lime or cranberry then just the vodka and soda is fine also!!

Hard to beat a good London dry gin (preferably Beefeaters) and tonic with a generous squeeze of lime on a hot afternoon.

Agreed. I also will muddle a bit of cilantro sometimes and have considered other herbs.

Rimming with celery salt is optional.

I also make a mean watermelon margarita.

Will most definitely try the celery salt.

My favourite Provider likes this with Sapphire and alot of limes.

Wasn't a gin fancier myself till I tried her drink.

Doesn't matter what time of year - the drink is the same..........a good Bourbon, a splash of Coke and one ice cube...........

Bud light. Always in season.

Simple drink for a simple guy.

Upon occasion, rye whiskey over ice.

Summer's almost over -- think 9-22-14 at 9:29 pm.

But since the warm weather in San Antonio lingers on for many weeks, a "veranda" blow out might be just the thing to mark the end of Summer.

Any suggestions for the libations?
