I assume I am not alone here, but I am on constant pilgrimage for good little mexican restaurants, that also have beautiful "Latina Next Door" waitresses. Just not a better way to enjoy a puro breakfast or a quick lunch.
I'm not talking about places like O-Hoes Locos. And certainly not the reopened "new and improved?" Las Mariposas. Skanky snatch shoved in my face, while I am trying to choke down some crappy version of a chorizo & bean taco, does not count.
I am talking about good little mom and pop cafes, with sexy, cute waitresses that smile a lot, and wear clothes that are just tight enough to make you wonder. The food has to be above average. Good salsa is a must, and the girls need to make you want to stay to have just one more refill on your coffee, even though your Asada Mexicana taco is long gone. I have two places to share, to start off the list, and look forward to any additions you all might suggest to give me some new places to try. Here are my first two (in no particular order):
1) El Rafas Cafe - 1535 W Hildebrand
- outstanding food, and 3-4 beautiful girls waitressing on every shift. This place is legit restaurant that packs them in, but the food, prices and the "atmosphere" make it well worth it.

2) Taqueria La Huasteca #3 - 3905 San Pedro
- $3.95 Huevos Rancheros w/ coffee served every day, or your choice of one other breakfast plate for $3.95 also. Add an outstanding chilaquiles taco, or al pastor taco, and you won't eat again until bedtime. This place is not as busy as El Rafas, but the two young sweethearts that wait on the tables keep the coffee always hot, never empty, and never leave you without a smile. They are just as much a part of the experience as the solid food. Absolutely professional, but just can't help themselves from being adorable. Just admire some of their best assets as they leave your table, and hope you will be able to get up at the end of your breakfast without knocking over your water glass, due to your appreciation.

So there are a couple of places I love to go. Would be great to hear of the multitudes of others that I haven't had the pleasure of trying yet. Look forward to hearing about your favorites, if you are like-minded.
