And to Dreams: CONGRATS on the new car! Knowing how hard you worked and saved for it should make the purchase all the sweeter!

Sweetie, you're absolutely right. Thank you so much for showing me the error of my ways. In fact, why don't you demonstrate your convictions for us all and post a picture of your face & the make and model of your car?

Indeed. Justifiably, more so in the hobby than anywhere else.

And what exactly does any of the above has what to do with Dreams getting a new Mercedes?

I do not see any handy previous owner information like the C Class being the same as a Ford Escort (piece of total shit) or warnings about turning off the ESP when raining and on a curvy road. Or even the detailed explanation of the "A" and "B" service and what each in tells?? Or would this and the two preceding posts be considered "OFF TOPIC"??

Model of car and posting a pic of your face is an absurd comparison. Apples and oranges. When you have to resort to extremes to make your point...
Not showing your face is safe. Not disclosing the model of your car is paranoid. I drive a Lexus btw

How would you feel posting that if your face was already posted prominently on the internet and you were engaged in illegal activity that is currently being targeted by police? I suspect you would have a less cavalier attitude.

I know a former provider that was arrested a few years ago in part because they knew her car and what she looked like. (She had a board name like a type of bird and hung out with Angels.).

My point is that Miss Dreams shows her face in her ads online.

And you think it's "paranoid" for her not to disclose the make & model of her new car, right along with that?

Congrats on the sweet new ride! If you get half as much pleasure out of your new car as your customers got in helping you save for it, you will be one HAPPY girl.

I drive a Nissan Altima. Good luck figuring out which one is mine. I pass by 100+ a day that's the same year, make, model, and color

*just wanted my name to appear on this thread like all the cool kids. Carry on*

Much like a Mercedes. I think last year alone MBUSA managed to sell 343,614 units in 2013 (which was a benchmark year and a increase of 12.6% in sales). Which makes it a "common" vehicle and unlikely to be picedk out in a hotel parking lot due to lack of model and color (just keep hello kitty stickers off of it). Unlike say a a Land Rover (Range Rover either one is a total piece of mechanical shit) which sold only 50,010 units (to the uneducated or sadists with a gluttony for punishment) for 2013. Or even say Ferrari which managed to sell 2,035 vehicles in 2013.

So much like the Altima it will be hard to pick out in a parking lot.

About ten years ago I gave Range Rover the last dime they'll ever get from me. Least reliable car on the road. Also, with the Brits and their colonial past with India, it's ironic that the company is now owned by an Indian conglomerate. For cars, I stick to German or Japanese. Mercedes was a fine choice OP. Treat it right and it will definitely treat you right.

Wow, constantly being re-constructed, apparently. It's funny when a company changes hands like that, you have to wonder why. Like when someone changes their handle, oh...say 4 times in 6 months. Hypothetically speaking, of course. Makes one a little leary, doesn't it?

In any event, all the cars listed are fabulous, and the stuff dreams are made of, for sure.

Congrats again, Dreams! I hope you're as happy with your new vehicle as I am with mine!

Good to see Ginger get back into the back and forth like the old days...this mean you're not going to be contacting the mods anymore?

Mercedes suck...to each their own...

P.S.-See Ginger, I can remain "on topic" using my last sentence just like you!

I'm not sure I follow. Changing handles? Like on the cars? If you've had 4 handles break in 6 months that's not good. I had the rear view mirror dislodge twice on my last Rover. Good thing I've got eyes in the back of my head

So true about Rovers.. Only an idiot or a fool (who has sadistic tendencies) buys one now days based on their last 20 years of problems and the fact they are owned by an Indian conglomerate (Jaguar also) and they are not known for quality. At all.... Rovers rank number one in my list or worse vehicles ever owned followed closely by that Panoz piece of crap.

Makes one even more leery when someone keeps posting paranoid delusional hypothesis with that person never giving any factual proof to base their ASSumptions upon. That is indeed scary and makes one very leery

I think Dreams made a good choice with a Mercedes based on reliability and resale value (as long as it is not a C Class).

And on a side hilarious note.. Dreams did this thank you thread for her purchase of a new Mercedes when not too awfully long ago another hooker did her own thank you thread. http://www.eccie.net/showpost.php?p=2871197&postcount=1 Kind of a huge difference in what each bought and thanked the guys for is it not?
