Ok, so to get us back on topic:

That said, I know for a fact that Florida is FILLED with horny and generous guys. Joan, I'm sorry things didn't work well for you there. I responded to a similar post stating that maybe you want to rethink your marketing strategy. You're obviously a great and attractive lady, you just need to make sure the right guys get to know you

xoxo,

I know, right? I was thinking, is there another Florida I don't know about??
Kidding. But Florida is a completely different animal, and it can't be handled like anywhere else in the country because of it's demographics. It takes being at the right place at the right time. I would agree that a change in marketing would help tremendously.

			interesting thread.

I have lived all over FL. south, central, and panhandle.. you can drive 5 miles east or west and its a totally different demographic. a lot of suburban sprawl so if you stay in downtown Orlando you might have more trouble drawing guys in then if you stayed closer to Disney which is surrounded by suburb.

you are right though.. central FL is being over run by the young (as in college age) and old and by old I mean really old. there are no jobs unless you want to work in hospitality, but you can thank the theme parks for that and the growth of UCF. its a trend that sped up during the housing crash

your choice in cities was poor as well.. jacksonville is just your typical southern city. Ocala has nothing and is too far from the villages where you can find old retirees looking for fun, gainseville is just a poor college town take away UF and it would be orange and cattle farms. Clearwater is an old beach town, nothing special about it. I think if you tried Tampa instead that could of made a huge difference, guys aren't going to want to cross the bridge with all that traffic to come see you at an incall. it can take over an hour to cross one of those bridges with all the traffic.. tampa is also the stripper capital of FL and is home to the hard rock which is the most liberal casino in FL outside of S. FLA so you could of dipped into that market.

anyway hope you have better luck next trip to FL. i think you just had bad luck, bad timing, and a bad run of picking locations

Okay, JJ don't trash the entire state. You came at the WRONG time. It is January. Only people here are the old farts from up North looking to stay warm-- fat chance of that with the cold spell we had. You need to come back when it warms up like in April or May. Orlando is bustling then with conventions. I know that I've played my hardest the past month-- mostly with UTRs from all age ranges (along with my ATF).

check the sub forums and they tell the tale. oddly enough the panhandle section seems to get a lot of action even though the population is a lot less than other areas of the state. also the beaches blow away crappy Jacksonville in the panhandle.

if you want to follow the money then south florida is where to go.. never ending supply of guys with money.. its amazing how wealthy it is down there.

i'm born and raised in FL and really I don't care if you bash it at all, FL has its faults for sure. but the weather and beaches are hard to beat, and the cost of living is pretty good too compared to lets say the calif coast.

JJ, Joe is right. You have to try the Panhandle. It is by far the most active area in Florida here on ECCIE. Now, it is a YMMV situation, and the guys here are pretty savvy. Call us Texas-- east. We are on the hunt for UTRs, SBs and other girls who are willing to play for a little less than what "pros" expect. Now, that doesn't mean we won't see "pros"-- we will.

I got to Tally got settled in and Boom hotel fire across the street. I managed to get out and get some dinner. Wild. This is a GREAT example of Florida these days there are so many vacant Hotels homeless peeps and what have ya live in them. This is State Cap home of Fla State Tallahassee and the problem is even here . There are so many vacant hotels in Florida some open some closed. I'm never going back down there if you decide to be very carful and take your own funds. My Florida as I knew it is gone , I am a Daytona Beach side native.
