Default My top 10 reasons "Newbies" are declined services

Being new I've made some rookie mistakes, I continue to studie the art of becoming a better provider. New hobbyist should do the same. There are new hobbyist that I would love to see, but they make rookie mistakes. Here's my top 10 can anyone add to the list please.

1. After reading my showcase they ask for a specific service and associate a price for it.
2. Dirty language
3. Late response to questions
4. Hagel over posted donation
5. Outcall with no references
6. llittle or no activity on site
7. Lies
8. Doesn't use proper terminology
9. Rude
10. Explains fetish then asks how much

It's called "common sense"...and unfortunately it ain't all that common..

As far as #6 goes though..I would ask if you mean post count? as that is not a real measure..there are lurkers and even folks who don't get on the internet who are still experienced..

While I got you though...are you GFE??..
Just curious..

Interesting list, T-rain. But, in all fairness to the new guys, your list isn't just traits exclusive to "newbies".

My addition, though, to the list would be a general lack of initiative, whether intentional or not, when coming on this site... asking a general question, and wanting everyone else to do their work for them. Research, dude! Then ask if you don't find the answer.

Oops...sorry Sweetie, just read your showcase and was able to (DUH) answer my own question...LOL

You have some very nice reviews but I must point out that one was written by a newbie..

Ya know...the perpetual kind....

I don't post to much here. I read most of the time and get some knowledge from everybody. (Thanks btw). I will be more active. Back to the topic; what about not using a hobby phone?

Actually, re-read T-rain's query, and she was asking for a list of why newbies would be declined for services, not what their mistakes are when coming on this site. There's a difference, so I'm sorry for making this leap.

Not sure what a hobbyist's use of a personal phone vs. hobby phone would have to do with anything, Thacker, especially when it deals with a provider denying services? Am I not thinking this through?

11. Mod's wanting special Treatment or Discounts.
12. The Client doesn't post or have any Reviews
13. Asked the Provider to call their reference's instead of sending them a PM.
14. Want's to meet in public, but doesn't want to tip for the Providers time.
15. Want's to know about BB Services.
16. Requesting if the Provider might need management or a driver.
Read this under a different Tab or Form Site.

topeka rain, glad that you have been able to recognize those mistakes.
and hopefully you are putting that knowledge to use - seems like it.

how about confirming fee for specific time period? [i never pay for services, only time!!!]
sometimes a provider has not updated her showcase to have her current rates [either higher or lower].

how would you suggest a prospective client ask to confirm a fee for specific time?

and what if the time period is not listed on your showcase or website?

Very good questions pmd... and on the same note.

Since you offer both a non-GFE and GFE rate and since it seems that everyone's definition of what GFE is, is different.
What is your definition of GFE and how is it different from your non-GFE?
inquiring (and lurking) minds would like to know.

GFE WOW
Fees should be clearly posted and for additional services, bring cash.

See now that is a newbie response to a question... I was asking your opinion of what it means, not what others think it means.

"Fees should be clearly posted and for additional services, bring cash."

That statement just screams up-sell to me...
I don't believe that you meant for it too but if the fee is clearly posted then why would anyone have to bring cash for additional services?

BTW - only a Newbie would go into a session with out knowing the answer to that simple question yet you are avoiding answering it, can I ask why that is?
If your answer is because you don't want to incriminate yourself... you are a verified provider on a SHMB so it is a little late for that. ijs
