Foreign language fetishes anyone??

I admit it, I have a strange obsession with the German language. Most people I know like the sound of a foreign language but scoff at me for liking German. I think it is the rough and guttural sound that i find to be such a turn on. I want to know what language you find to be the most sexy. Why? Are there any particular words or phrases that you really enjoy? So..... Ich frage.... Sprechen Sie Deutsch? Jawohl? Wir kann viel Spaß zusammen machen!

Being a retired for lang educator. I too share a strong desire to learn as many foreign languages. Spanish is my strongest, French 2nd strongest, Portuguese, smatterings and DATY may be the one I excell at best!! Lol. Mi amor, te quiero, J'taime, Actung for LadyV, Como vai voce?

Wow. I thought it was just me. I downloaded I want to hold your hand by The Beatles in German. "Komm gib mir deine hand." German is my favorite language. After that it would be Latin.

During a session with a particular novela-esque provider back in the summer, it was so refreshing hearing her speak Spanish throughout the entire session. Growing up here on this side of the border, I never got to appreciate Spanish in much of a romantic sense. it was more of a thing for me and my parents, grandparents, etc.

I love hearing phrases like Miamor, Corazon, etc....and then theres the name given to me by my SnowFlower: juguete/juguetito

Having returned not so long ago from the German FKKs, I know what you mean, LadyV, about German. I have studied multiple languages and encourage any foreign-origin lady I see to speak "sweet nothings" into my ear in her native tongue. Love it.
