It's going to be my first time in Monroe. I'm curious if it has a large LE presence as its neigboring cities like Shreveport/Bossier.

Any good places to visit or dine at? Which areas are safe to stay in and get naughty?

ALL suggestions are more than welcome.

Monroe is usually a great stop over and is safe

i am curious abt monroe also..i am in the shreveport/bossier area for the holidays, but have always heard good things abt monroe..i have no additional insight though..

I go there when I am down there..I stay in West Monroe because some of the hotels in Monroe are sketchy..Always have a great time when I am there though.
