I wasn’t going to even comment here but I just have some thoughts…

First thing that comes to mind is this is someone’s little girl. She a daughter , maybe a sister, aunt whatever. I can say with confidence that when she was 5, 6, 7, 10 years old she wasn’t dreaming about growing up to be an addict and selling her body to pay for it. There are plenty of providers that do this because they want to. They are just very sexual ladies that enjoy the thrill and of course the money that goes with it. This doesn’t sound like the case with this girl.

Secondly, you have to ask what was the trigger that sent her on this path. Was she abused either physically, sexually, or emotionally and if so by who? Was it a trusted friend? Relative? Are the parents into the stuff as well? Or was it peer pressure from a couple friends just to try it and got out of control?

Third, Can she be saved? Impossible to say. Should she be saved? Absolutely! She may be the one that gets straight, tells her story to one of your daughters or sons, grandkids, whoever that either stops them from going down this path or gets them off it.

Now I have no idea what can be done other than an intervention and be cut off from all the negative influences in her life, again I have no idea how.

As far as what Poplips has done I say kudos for trying but I think professional help is the only answer. And when the comments are what they are think if it was your kid or your close friends kid, wouldn’t you want them to get help?

There are possibly only two endings to his story, one is ok and the other is the worst possible that any parent, friend will have to go through. I for one hope it ends OK……… BD

Wow. Great reading. Only once did I ever allow myself to get slightly personal with a provider and that ended the very second she called me out of nowhere on a Holiday to wish me "Happy ...".

At that point, I realized we had crossed the line and I have never seen or talked to her since.

One rule to live by in this hobby (aside from always be respectful and let the big head do your thinking):

At the end of the day, always remember the foundation of the Hobby: This is a business transaction on both ends. Nothing more. The women are providers. We are consumers. Certainly feelings can develop and we all have our favorites, but its still only a transaction. Keep it in that perspective and things will not escalate to this type of level.

Is is a thread of tragedy, and whether we like to here it or not, it shows a glimpse of where we never want the hobby to go. I think all new providers should read as well as clients.

Granted, drugs may have driven her, and being a provider was a consequence, nevertheless, all should be careful.

I've never met a woman who started hooking to support a PT habit. All my research points to this scenario; young girl starts hooking, likes all the easy money, for a few months. Starts hating what she does and self medicates. They don't die and very few commit suicide. They just bump along from one scumbag boyfriend to another, hooking enough to support their "hobby". Get on welfare, squeeze out a few little bastards. They take a few trips to the grey bar hotel for other crimes; boosting, credit card fraud, dealing, or whatever. And the taxpayers end up supporting them for the rest of their lives, be it welfare or disability. The new American dream.
