Trip to Rochester ~ Victoria Lane

Prebooks are important, would you go into work if you knew there was a chance you might not get paid for all of your hours?
When you have a $500 or more overhead every trip you need to make sure you will make that back then make sure you will make enough profit to justify the stress and time put into making a trip.
I won't make a trip unless I have enough prebooks lined up to cover everything and make it worth the trip even if one or 2 cancel. That's why I do prebook and multi hour specials it helps me stay organized, have a sense of security, and stay low volume.

good business people should play fair; just because someone camcels on you does not justify cancelling on the next guy

if you want to be sure, take a credit card and run it as a non-refundable deposit. rain or shine, and prepare to be there.

That being said, OP, if it were me, I'd set up a trip using when I wanted to be there and when I wanted to do business, and where. You can't please everyone, especially not this group. What fucked set of circumstances would do that? Can't do it, please yourself and if you take a small loss fuck it, don't go back.

Some hate the idea of specials but prebook specials and advertising as far in advance as possible will make every trip great.
Trust me the interest to see you for a week after you leave happen everywhere and no mater how much you advertise. I put it on my site, signature, post far in advance, and post on multiple sites but somehow you always get a ton of contact as you are driving away or days later hoping you are still there. I have no advice on how to fix that and no mater how many places or times you advertise some regulars still miss it then ask why you haven't been in town after you literally just left.
Another thing to keep in mind is stick to cities you have a lot of regulars in for summer. In the summer a lot vacation, are busier with less hobby time, and a lot of gents teach or have winter jobs then don't get paid over the summer so they tighten the purse strings. When time or money are tight a lot of gents stick with regulars for ease of booking and predictability.
There is no exact science and what works for some doesn't work for others.
If you don't have a site I suggest using a few hours to make one you get a lot of views and bookings through it. On another site most guys won't see girls without sites. It is a nice way to express your personality and give more personalized information.

WOW........now I know why I have never posted on the board before. I thought the board was supposed to be helpful for new providers and hobbyists, not a place to attack and belittle them for asking for opinions or a question.

And I posted in the co-ed section to get opinions from guys and well established providers. And that's what I was asking for opinions, not cell phone numbers. Quite honestly, I have no idea what your last post even means.

But, I do know I am making the trip to Rochester (not because my work is slow in Buffalo, not that its any of your business), I will not be seeing you, and this is my FIRST and LAST post on the board that is meant to help providers & hobbyists, not make them confused and feel stupid.

Don't let JB push you away. The board is a good place for all, but I think the providers need a thick skin. Use it as best you can to drum up business and ignore attacking posts.

Some unsolicited advice for SPs new to the boards: read Frankie Fine's posts, here and on any board where she posts. She never rises to the bait, she ignores the bullshit, and in the rare instance when a client has a problem with her, she just has straight answers and no excuses. It's simple really, just act like a professional.

How can we remember small talk or everyone we pm? Especially in your first 2 years? I HATE cleaning out my inbox but I was just forced to again today because it was full and rejecting messages for my trip today and next week. I think we need bigger inboxes so that we don't have to delete important things or ask the same people the same questions a million times, it would be easier to just search our inboxes for the answers.

then set the time and day
