I would never get a tattoo, but I have been fascinated with them ever since getting hooked to "Ink Master" and "Tattoo Nightmares" on Spike TV. I couldn't find anything permanent enough to warrant getting it chiseled into my body, and the latter of the two tattoo shows has scared any semblance of desire away for good! If you do decide to go through with it, I would just heed Mokoa's advice, and think it through very carefully. Also, find the right person for the job. I gather that tattoo artists are not all the same, and certain people have different specializations.
BTW, that gallery JJ posted is both hilarious and sad (for the recipients) and worth a look to emphasize the importance of getting a quality tattoo artist.
