It's pretty obvious to me this women does not have the knowledge to ban or define any firearm as an assault rifle. Although they may tell the public they confide in the Military and Law enforcement, they don't. Heres a video from an actual Law Enforcement Agent on Assault Weapons.

I laughed out loud watching Cruz embarrass the old bat. Notice that she never did answer his initial questions about the 1st and 4th Amendment, instead saying no Constitutional rights are "absolute". Her ignorance woule be laughable if it wasn't so scary due to her seniority and power in the Senate.

Agreed, but that acknowledgment is not relevant to the 2nd amendment discussion, which means that the founding fathers did not restrict possession and ownership of firearms to "sporting and hunting" rifles.

What type of Assault Weapons were use during the Columbine Shooting? Heres something to consider, the word " Assault" gives refference to a type of behavior not a type of weapon. So if Iam shooting a 30-06 at people, is the rifle an Assault Rifle or a Hunting Rifle?

other than owning an assaut weapon just to say I own one, for the life of me, I cant say how I could ever use one.
as a hunter and NRA member, I either like long range shooting with bolt actions, or up close bow hunting ..
I have the in home protection covered like a blanket with hand guns and shotguns .. a proverbial shitstorm is at arms reach for unsuspecting intruders.
I cant see going to a range and bustin' off 500 rounds in a couple of minutes and going back home ? no point and no skills involved .. seems like a total waste in todays ammo market.
I have a carry permit and can go around strapped legally, why would I need anything else? why would I want a Bushmaster in the back seat? ... so someone can break a window and steal it?? ... nah, no thanks.
any/no application I can think of suits me .. aside from the 2nd amendment.

Thats why I crack up over most of this shit. Even high capacity magazines, whats their definition of that. I just bought a 12 round mag for a Sig 40cal. is that high capacity. None of this will be enforced.
