I would write a NCNS so others will know and hopefully avoid the issue. Many times the Providers forget that our time is also valuable and worth money.

If you have never seen them before, and they NCNS, I believe they should pay in full. My psychologist charges me if I do not call and cancel 24 hours in advance, even though I have seen her for years. If she is able to replace the time with someone else, and because I'm a good customer otherwise, she cuts it in half for the miss. That seems fair because she does have to scramble and call other patients to fill the time, so she gets something for her trouble. If it is a long time customer, he should still make it up somehow but maybe get a little credit for his past behavior.
Some people just don't understand that your time is lost to you forever when you have set it aside for them and they abuse that consideration. A really decent guy would compensate you something.
I think providers should "tell" on the guys who treat them poorly with something written here.

Just had a similar experience today. Had an appointment set up for this afternoon which was confirmed two hours before the time of the appointment. Texted (and received a reply) the provider that I was about to depart for the incall location 30 minutes before the appointment. Get to the incall location and text that I need the room number. She replies that she just got out of the tub and can needs a "few" minutes. 15 minutes later, I text "are you ready?" Her reply "almost". By this time, it is 30 minutes past the appointment time of a 1 hour appointment. Unfortunately for me, I have to work at my job to pay by bills, so I don't have the luxury of spending an entire afternoon away from office.

Well draug that's just a part of hobbying and the issues that come up in modern society. I'm not saying it's right, but people procrastinate and things always take longer than you thought they would.
It's always going to be a challenge to make a 1 hour appointment with an exact 1 hour window. You know how that goes with the doctor or dentist.
The unforgivable issue is the NO CALL !!!
Unless you are on a stretcher, being attended to by paramedics...anyone can make a g*d**m call.

SO Today, I got all dressed up and ready to show my TAINT to pyramider...... I had been dreaming all night about that 1 inch death trap between his scrawny chicken legs (referring to old avatar) and I waited and waited.... I called him and he said he would be right there... his darn neighbor was answering the phone again!!!! Yes ladies.... he is too cheap to get a provider phone and uses his neighbors landline!!!
I think he is full of it, he called me the next day, (off the neighbors phone, aka his moms house) saying his bicycle had a flat! thats the fourth flat this week!! El Hombre de la mancha? huh! yeah right more like El hombre... ya right... not an hombre!

How was that? should i bring more NCNS juice??

I say they do it because they already have enough clients so they are not worried about any new ones... and if you are a repeat client then they just expect you to come back anyways or don't care if they lose your business... and last but not least they are simply unprofessional and don't really care (nor have the capacity to understand that this is REAL business)


This may be about pleasure but you need to undertsnad how to handle the business aspect of it as well, because with No good business practices, the pleasure can be sucked out of it very easily.

I say it's most likely procrastination and/or denial... "I can make it work... Shit, I'm not going to make it... Crap I should have called... OMG now they are calling me..." It's easy to slip up and then avoid the issue(s) - for either party.

I can't imagine the stress of trying to run this kind of business - the bonus possibility of arrest, harassment or assault for going to work every day. My hats off to all the ladies here who do manage to keep it together and run this business / life. Much less keep all their clients happy.

Glad the original poster sorted it out with the provider. But it does make me wonder how much charm/truth/BS was involved to reach resolution. I guess at the end of the day it doesn't so much matter since it's all wrapped up.
