Yes I am but this is about a different topic!


One of my favorite holiday traditions in to get a fruit cake and enjoy eating her,,,I mean it.
Great slivers of fruit and nuts of all kinds in a rich cake makes my mouth water thinking about her, I mean it. I took one to work to share for that special staff gathering this year and I am enjoying one right now at home!

So what special foods and other traditions do you enjoy this time of year?

What great tradition do you have for this special season?

A higher power has just LMK to forever never fuck with you again...I mean your description of a fruitcake gave me a Woody...it is without a doubt some of the most beautiful prose I have ever read. Fuck man, nobody I mean nobody in my family or circle of friends that I can think of likes fruitcake. It's like my private passion and to know that someone feels the same way..I thought I'd never find that person.

Who knows SS...maybe you and I will share one, one day but I know one thing, I've drank too much GT tonight and I don't feel like chasing after one..but I sure could use a nice firm heavy piece of fruitcake...

Fruit cake takes me back to my childhood. My father worked for Rainbow Bakery in St. Joseph. Every year they gave him a large fruit cake in a tin. Probably weighed 10 pounds. I probably ate 90% of the cake every year. It is not good for me and I don't like green, candied cherries but I get a small fruit cake every year.

Sorry but those things look awful..... i mean that pic looks like it has fucking jelly beans in it. Dont mean to be a fruitcake "hater" but i wouldn't eat that.

"Jelly Beans"? Really! You would not believe the cost of a really good fruitcake; and they don't have jelly beans.

But then, it is really hard to find a real one because of the laws about alcohol in the US.
