why do providers continue to post on bp?
& why do hobbyist seek out those providers?

most threads in the alert sections or providers/clients complaints tend to ome from dealing off of backpage..... so why? is it the lower prices? or is p**** all the same?

In my opinion, as a 20+ year provider, backpage is the only outlet some gentlemen know about. On more than 1 occasion I have asked the gentlemen if they are members of p411 or eccie, and they say no what is that?? After the session I show them on my computer just what it is and where to go.... In the old days, I worked for escort services so that was all I knew. so many more avenues to showcase yourself. I am a stellar provider on whatever site a gent. would find me on. 90% of my hobbiest find me on BP. Some ladies are 100% on point and provide stellar service, and some are not. If a lady is going to be a con artist, they are going to try it no matter what site they are on. BP just gets all the heat these days Melissa012

20+ years and your comfortable with backpage? i assumed the more experience you have the more site you would find available beyond eccie and p411

Some women dont post on eccie but do on bp but i always ask if they have been reviewed on eccie. One noted it was too expensive for her to get a showcase on eccie. I dont knoe anything about that though.

why would you look to bp in the first place? what makes it so convienent for the hobbyist?

Dont get me wrong i prefer the quality of a verified provider and if it is exceptional i dont even post a review because if its akin to a real date, gentlemen dont kiss and tell.

That being said, I recognize new providers may not have heard of eccie and no harm in meeting new people who are just.entering.

Also, having a very busy professional life I find that some bp providers are more accomidating to short notice and late or odd hours.

I visit the Fort Worth bodyrub section frequently, but hardly ever the escort section. For some reason, most of the women I choose to visit advertise there daily, as opposed to here, where they can't post daily and either don't post at all, their presence is less frequent (I can tell on any given day on BP who's available at my favorite studio), or their ads get lost in the clutter. (If you have a 214 or 972 area code, and your ad doesn't say incall in Fort Worth, I move on; if your ad doesn't give me a general idea of where you are, I move on.) Most also aren't P411 members, and BP also allows them to specify what part of town they're in in the subject line -- extremely valuable information to me. Between the BP ads and the reviews here, I can get a pretty good idea about a lot of the women who advertise in the Fort Worth bodyrubs section.

In short, I can tell from the BP ads who's working on any given day and get a general idea of where she's working, and I can then check for reviews here. The BP ads are the easiest place for me to find the information I seek.

BSky, it is easy to browse and there is lots to look at there (and there are lots of low prices and specials - generates nice fantasies about finding that sweet GFE for SW prices early in her career - LOL). If a provider posts on the first couple of pages then they will likely answer a call or IM and are probably available. When I PM here it can take hours, days or even never get a response. Calling from here often gets a pickup, but fairly often than not no pickup, no VM though sometimes I'll get a quick call back. The exception is if they are listed online in my buddy list.

Now, that said, if I see someone interesting on BP, I always Google the number and name unless it is someone I've seen for a long time. I'lll also check the pics with Google and TinEye, but I don't call unless she is also at least on Eccie (sometimes I'll PM to see what response I get). OTOH, most of the girls on BP are non-GFE or even scams and ripoffs so not worth the while, but it is nice to fantasize.

Sir Lance is right, it is the easiest way to see who is awake and might answer the phone.

BP is an easy entry level internet market that most people are aware of for one reason or another.

It is for the freshmen of the hobby... once they graduate, they tend to migrate here or elsewhere. Once they get some legs under them, they have confidence to go back to BP with experienced eyes.

I go to Target, bazaars, boutiques, couture, specialty and department stores when I buy clothing. Who said that once I find a better quality store that ALL I can ever shop at is that or better? Fuck that, I like getting discounts and deals when I shop just like the guys do when they are hunting pussy.

I go to thrift shops and flea markets too just to see what diamonds I can find. It is the closest thing I can think of to compare to how I think the guys see BP and other sites.

Side note- there are more and more alerts on "verified/vet providers" here too. Bad apples come in all kinds.

I'd go as far to say that there are as many bad apples here are there are elsewhere... they just do a better job of hiding.

Or perhaps it is much easier to find the good apples here? Also, here the bar is a little or a lot higher as is the info available and communication so perhaps that weeds out a lot of the ones that are scamming or aren't serious.

With Backpage you never know what your going to get. An established provider on Eccie or P411 is low risk and if you treat her right your going to have a damn good date.
