Pink Pepper Fundraiser.. The 50/50 Drawing

Hello Everyone: The 50/50 Drawing for “The Pink Pepper Fundraiser” has not been drawn. The drawing will be held during the next evening social at 9:00 PM. Our goal was to sell $500 in tickets, we are at $335. By extending the drawing, will give everyone a chance to WIN.

Now that Pepper has started chemotherapy and will soon be facing many changes, wouldn't it be nice if we as a community blessed her with a “Get Well” package?

This delay has giving us the opportunity to give one more time. Please bring a card or gift of your choosing along with all your prayers for full and speedy recovery to the next Happy Hour social. All gifts will be packaged with her 50/50 money and will be sent to Pepper the next day.

For those who can’t attend the social and would like to give a gift or further donations, contact Laz via PM.

To give everyone an update Pepper is still feeling horrible as a result of the first Kimo treatment. However, in true "Pepper" style she loves how flat her stomach has gotten.

Seriously though, those of you that have experienced this or watched someone go through this know the challenge she is enduring. The help so many of you have provided helps reduce the stress of needing money. Over the next several months she will be needing more to support the cost of traveling for treatment and other things she will need to keep going. Her family is terrific in helping and supporting her but they are not rich. Any donations you can make will be welcome. You can send them to me or give them to me at a social since I am usually there. I will get them to her along with any notes you wish to send. Knowing so many people are cheering for her gives her a lot of emotional support. That support really does mean a lot to her.

and if I may ===> I'm sure any books, crossword puzzles or nice magazines would be appreciated too.....
.....bags of snacks are nice to have when sitting in the chair while your chemo is infusing sometimes for three or four hours
these snacks like peanut butter crackers, different cheese crackers, mini candi bars, bottle water works nicely too.....
.....not sure what she has to listen to music with, but downloads are quite popular too

Actually I think there are a lot of stand up guys in this community but I certainly don't mind being called out for it, especially if I'm horizontal...
