Now get ready to put your laptop in your checked bags, speedy, and thank Allah when it gets broken or stolen, you dissembling asshole.
Actually I do NOT have to go through all the screenings that most people in an airport do since I have been approved for Global Entry and I have TSA precheck.

But I get your point and it is well-taken. For those who travel via an airport, the added security is certainly an inconvenience in time and money.

We all know about religious freedoms, or non-freedoms, in Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan. Strange how Michelle Obama, Melania Trump, and Ivanka did not wear the required hijab while in Saudi Arabia yet the religious police didn't bother them. So of the 4 predominantly Muslim countries I've visited, one province has a religious police. Not a big deal. Within the U.S. there are many counties that are controlled by religious groups.

Regarding the 2nd link, the incident in Britain was in 2013 and was done by 3 men named Jordan Horner, Ricardo MacFarlane, and Royal Barnes. Not exactly Muslim names. Have you noticed that many of the "Muslims" involved in such incidents are not born in Muslim countries nor brought up Muslim?

In the other incident in Germany, the 8 men were involved in basically a protest and were not charged since all they did was talk to people. Have you ever been to Las Vegas and encountered Bible thumpers on the street? Same thing.

You asked me about speeding. The fact that I have had exactly 1 speeding ticket in 50 years of driving simply attests to the fact that I do not speed.

See ... Little Boy ...

Another feeble attempt at demeaning anyone who has the audacity to disagree with you. Grow up!!

... you're not as "clever" as you believe you are!

As you are doing 5 over .... how many people blow by you?

Totally irrelevant. I would say it is 50-50. If I am doing 70 in a 65 MPH zone, some pass me doing 80+. Others I will pass who are doing 55. Most people are like me, driving around 5 MPH over the limit knowing that if there are police on the road it is highly unlikely they will stop you for doing that. Unless in a school zone.

But you just made my point! Having laws on the books doesn't mean shit .... you are the one who brought up that standard.

If there were no such laws on the books, there would be some people driving 100+ on a road where 65 might be the limit of safety for the average driver. I may not agree with all laws on the book but I respect them and abide by them or risk suffering the consequences.

Not me. So my behavior is not an issue. Yours is!

Texas Transportation Code
Sec. 545.352. PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS. (a) A speed in excess of the limits established by Subsection (b) or under another provision of this subchapter is prima facie evidence that the speed is not reasonable and prudent and that the speed is unlawful.

Please. Get over yourself. You keep showing your ignorance with every post. I lied. I go at most 5 mph over the speed limit I am breaking the law. IF you want to gig me for driving 5 MPH over the speed limit while only on specific highways go ahead. If the police accept me doing it then I don't consider it breaking the law.

As you implied, if you drive the speed limit on Texas roads, there is a high likelihood you will get run over. If you have the power, get the police to strictly enforce the speed limits and you will find a change in driver speeds.

You are a petty old man.

You continue to show yourself to be an ignorant redneck hillbilly.

I pointed out to IB that not everyone is affected as much as he is by security checks at airports.

You seem to know everything about me yet I'd be willing to bet you can't remember anything that I've posted about my personal life longer ago than maybe a month. And since you're lying once again about me at some time claiming that I know anything about you, how about telling me what lies I've made on this forum, as you claim I've done. Or were you lying when you made that accusation. Ignorant redneck hillbilly.

And you too get to celebrate your freedom by continuing to be an ignorant redneck hillbilly. And I actually served in the army to protect that right. Unlike you.

After thinking about it, no way would what I said be considered a lie in a court of law. I admitted to driving over the speed limit at times. Then later I said I did not break any traffic laws. Certainly a contradiction but no one, other than an ignorant redneck hillbilly, would consider my second statement a lie. I had no intent to lie since I had already incriminated myself with my first statement. I doubt an ignorant redneck hillbilly will understand this logic but it's always worth a try.

Wrong, speedy. You already admitted you pay more -- "harmed by" -- for the privileges you enjoy passing through security, and, like everyone else, YOU cannot leave your vehicle standing by the curb to enter the terminal and even YOU cannot accompany family or friends to their gate prior to departure like you could pre 9-11.

He has expressed a desire, as a Northern Loudmouth, to "get rid" of the native Texans and make Texas in the image of a Yankee State....where crazy Liberal Democrats can slaughter people while practicing baseball for a charity fundraising game ... to which I assume he was going to peddle in his tight, ass-swishing, shorts!

(Which he probably didn't wear in those Muslim countries he "visited" using his "Global Entry" and "PreCheck"!)
