Your analogy regarding social functions is flawed and does not apply here. It is presumed that both people in a session were present. In a social setting no such presumption of attendance exists. If you had knowledge of a banned member's presence you were welcome to RTM it, I've seen no such item cross my path.

We just lost two to admin, but the replacements joined a team. Did you happen to notice how many mods from Houston have been posting in this thread?

Mainly it has been Spiceitup. He has been the face of the Houston mod team in this thread. You are not used to that sort of moderating , I am sure. I have many days I may get 10 or more PM from other Houston mods to get my thoughts on posts and threads.

What I am saying is this. In Houston do not make the assumption that what a mod posts is only his opinion. It is as or more likely to be the consensus of the group discussion about the topic.

I read the thread from start to finish and questioned what stood out to me.

I understand Houston is a bit different...... I "grew up" in Houston on ASPD and know that it has always been "different".....

I do not "typically" make assumptions and felt that the person to address was the Moderator making the post, in this case SpiceitUp.....

Are you going to be falling on the sword whenever a Moderator on the Houston "team" makes a mistake or are they all infallible? He seems to be one of the newer of the Mods and I've never really known there to NOT be a learning curve.

In my recollections of Houston Forums and their Moderation..... the kinds of posts made that I questioned were not typically made......

"Cautioning" someone and quoting a guideline while posting a link to the material itself knowing full well the member made no comments that were not allowed???? really? If the "team" wanted to turn that into an educational opportunity there was no reason to "caution" the poster and quote him...... A simple statement as a stand alone that the material being presented might be confrontational but was allowable and why perhaps......

The "teams" approach looks more like an attempt to censor and steer the topic vs allowing the members to have an exchange within what the guidelines allow. Perhaps the loss of the two members to admin has had a negative effect on the team?

As I said.... It's been a while since I've read much here in Houston..... I'll try to catch up so as to not make mistakes.....

My apologies to the team..... I'll see about hitting that RTM thingy some more...

Are there banners or bumper stickers if I decide to root for you guys?

I was reviewed by one of Houston's gents a while ago and, because of a comment he made on this one negative review of hers, I am now the "cause" of this whole CPS bull crap that her reviewer brought up and I am also the one who spoke ill of her. Granted, during my time with PT79, we did not chat except about the drive he had made from Houston to San Antonio.

As you can read on her opening statement, she tells me of some of the things she "could" have done to me for "talking" about her. Do you see how sick this is? Did it ever cross her mind that, maybe, just maybe, PT79 has seen other SA ladies who travel to Houston? Or maybe that she should've asked me or him about this before becoming so angered?

I have NEVER spoke of her beauty or talents in any negative way.

Stay safe and, hopefully, none of your clients will ever speak ill of her...
